Heaven on Earth

Day-10- Tues. 17/5/16- It is 4:04 in the morning and we have been looking at some of the days that are already set aside. To begin with today is Day-10 and it falls on the 17th May 2016.  From an angle like this we can study very carefully the events that have unfolded during the past ten days of the first quarter; it can be done with the previous three quarters for the past two years.

Day- 11 is tomorrow and  Day- 19 - Day- 20 are already set aside, during the next eight days the fire will be burning. We believe that the events that will unfold for the next eight days will give birth to what the Ancestors of Tomorrow have expected.  We have been writing about what is unfolding during Expectation- IV.

Expectations for the year 2016 started on the 8th January 2016 which was Day-1.   Expectation -V will begin on the 17th June 2016 and come to a new cycle on the 27th July 2016.  The next Day- 40 will fall on June 16, 2016 and the date we are looking forward to is the 26th July 2016.

We plan to be on Diriwana’s Table today to sit with the Ancestors of Tomorrow in Gangadiwali. We plan to be on Diriwana’s Table today to pray to the Spirits of the Trouble Markers never to leave us alone during the struggle.

Day- 11-  Wed. 18/5/16- It is 4:15 in the morning and while we were organizing our agenda for today we realized that it has been four months since the first day of class for the children of Labuga in the Public Schools. The reputation of the Public Schools in Guatemala could be at its lowest point, and La Buga is not an exception. From our point of view, the education and the educator blend very well for those who have been trapped by a system that has fallen short of our expectations. 

In this case we would like to share a message with you that we wrote on January 19th 2016; therefore tomorrow will be four months since this message was revealed.

“Tues. 19/1/16- It is 4:07 in the morning and we have been thinking about this moment due to how we understand the concept of expectations today.  What are some of the expectations we can share with you this morning.  In this case, first and foremost Thanks and Praise to the Most High and the Spirits of the Trouble Makers for their intervention in our affairs.

We want to thank you for being a part of this journey; a journey that began in San Diego California on the 16th August 1997, and continues today in La Buga Guatemala.  To give you an idea we were present yesterday for the first day of Imenigi in Jr. High.  What we are hoping to do here is to shed some light on the reality of the Garifuna People in Guatemala from different angles.

“We have shared in many occasions that the Garifuna Teachers and Educators have fallen short of our expectations in Guatemala.” We would like to acknowledge that we have allowed the system to dictate the outcome. We all know that our Garifuna Teachers Educators work in one of the poorest educational system in the Americas.”

If our children have fallen short of our expectations, now is the time to do something about it.

Day- 13- Friday 20/5/16- It is 6:14 in the morning and while watching the news from Guatemala, one of the vice ministers of education was justifying why this government has not been able to meet the needs for the nutritional programs for the public schools in Guatemala. We could not avoid thinking about the role Gangadiwali can play in a time like this.

Food For Thought has been in the making for eighteen years and nine months.  It has given birth to a moment like this; we hope that this journey can take us through another eighteen years and nine months.

The next eighteen years will come whether we are here or not.  The next eighteen years can begin when you choose to participate. “The concept of participation in this context is about exceeding your own expectations.”

If we get the chance to share with you for another eighteen years it will be like heaven on earth.
