Wed. 17/6/15- I just got through reading from Long Walk to
Freedom, on pg. 273, and for some reason we came across this message from J.N.
Singh “ Nonviolence did not failed us,” he said, we have failed nonviolence.”
In this case, we came to the conclusion that our
Spirituality as a People has not failed us, we have failed our Spirituality. We
as Garinagu have failed our Spirituality. This goes to “show” that there is no
such thing as a coincidence.
Today is Father’s day in Guatemala, Guatemala has not failed
us instead we have failed Guatemala. We have failed Guatemala as Fathers of our
national heritage. But after reading this particular message that was revealed
to us on the 29th June 2014 that goes like this, “In this case, the concept of
this “SHOW” is more about a spiritual journey of a people that was exiled from
their homeland. I have written this before that we [the Garifuna People] are
the “Jews” of the Caribbean. We are a people that were exiled from their
homeland over 217 years ago. Today we can show the world that we are not alone.
We can show the world that you may kill the body but you cannot kill the
spirit. Be that as it may the “show” will continue.
Here we are today on Father’s Day and we would like to
address a question asked by Brother Ruben in relation to a feedback from
WABUDUHA:
“This is not the time to beg to the wrong people and hope for the right results, in fact, this is the time that our spiritual leaders should ask the áhari of Barauda for advise. (I wonder what she would say)."
Brother Ruben first foremost we would like to thank you for
being there. We are so grateful for the intervention of the Most High and the
Spirits of the Trouble Makers for their interventions in our affairs.
Garifuna Spirituality has not failed us however we have
failed Garifuna Spirituality. Barauda has not failed us, we have failed
Barauda. Barauda has always been there for us.
To be continued...
Au- Le.
